Ordering & Shipping

How do I order a book?

Find your book on our All Books page and tap the yellow "Buy the Book" button. You'll go to our secure checkout page, where you enter your shipping address and payment details.

How can I pay?

You can pay with all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is a flat $4.99 per order.

How fast will my book arrive?

We ship within 1–2 business days. As soon as your book is on its way, we email you the tracking information.

Where do you ship?

We ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland.

Can I order more than one copy?

Yes. On the checkout page, you can change the quantity before you pay.

Is sales tax charged?

Sales tax is added at checkout where it's required.

Is checkout safe?

Yes. Payment is handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Can I buy your books in a bookstore?

Some of our books are available in select bookstores. The easiest way to get one is to order it here, and we ship it straight to you.

Which book do I need?

I'm new to smartphones and tablets. Will your books help me?

Yes. Our books are written for people who have never used a smartphone or tablet before. Everything is explained in simple terms, tasks are laid out step by step, and pictures show you exactly what you'll see on your screen.

Which devices does each book cover?

Each book's page has a "Will this work for my device?" section with the full list of models it covers.

Is it a guide or a reference manual?

A bit of both. The first chapters work like a guide, teaching you the key words and basics you need to know. After that, you can use the table of contents to look up exactly what you want to do, whenever you need it.

I have a "Kindle Fire." Which book do I need?

The Kindle Fire is now called the Fire tablet, so you'll want the Fire HD Manual for Beginners. The Kindle Manual for Beginners is for Kindle e-readers used for reading books, like the Kindle Paperwhite.

Are the books available in other languages?

Not at the moment. Our books are available in English only.

Returns

What if the book isn't right for me?

Every book comes with our 30-day money-back guarantee. Send the book back within 30 days, in new or excellent condition (unless it arrived damaged), for a full refund of the book price. Return shipping is paid by you.

How do I return a book?

Email us at info@beginnermanuals.com with the name and email address you ordered with, and we'll reply with return instructions. Your refund goes back to your original payment method once we receive the book.

My book arrived damaged, or it hasn't arrived.

We're sorry! Email us with the name and email address you ordered with, and we'll make it right.
